Lloyd Russell Harvey, the 4th of William and Rebecca’s children, was born on February 20, 1897 in Rich Square, NC.
On May 5, 1921 Russell married Lula Virginia Tann daughter of John Thomas Tann and Isabella Ashe Tann and of this union eight children were born; James Lloyd, Claude Russell, Wm. Thomas, Joseph Thornton, Jasper Eugene, Gloria Nelda, Randolph McCoy and Edla Elizabeth.
On August 8, 1975, at the age of 78, Lloyd Russell Harvey died at McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond Virginia of a Heart Attact that he had while he was visiting the hospital for a check-up. Russell is interred in Ashetown at the Albert Ashe/Harvey Cemetery in Rich Square, NC.
